The River Ridge Association of Fine Arts was originally formed in 1971, by a group of artists who were drawn together by their mutual interest in art and painting. Their goals were find venues to exhibit their work, support and encourage each other, enjoy the fellowship of other artists and be part of the vibrant Spokane Art Scene.

Today's Association
Today our association has more than 50 members. We meet at least once a month to share ideas, demonstrations, and hear from guest speakers.
Members express their art in a variety of mediums ranging from painting to photography, 3 dimensional work, and fiber art. Of course with this variety of work, RRAFA members are just as varied in their art backgrounds. Members range from self taught to formal graduate art education.
RRAFA is proud to have members who have built careers with their art working side by side with members who consider their art to be a leisure pastime.
We believe that camaraderie and support from peers keeps our work fresh and alive. Artists are invited to join our group and add their creative energy to our Association.
A membership application can be downloaded here. You are welcome to fill it out and bring it to either one of the membership meetings along with a piece or two of your work for all of us to enjoy.
