About Us
The River Ridge Association of Fine Arts was originally formed in 1971, by a
group of five artists who were drawn together by their mutual interest in art and
painting.  Their desire was to exhibit their work and enjoy the fellowship of other
artists.

The group is now comprised of over 45 members who meet once a month to
share ideas, demonstrations, and hear from guest speakers.

Members are varied in their chosen mediums and just as varied in their
backgrounds, ranging from those who are self taught to those who have formal
art education.

River Ridge is proud of their members who have built careers with their art, as
well as their members who consider their art a lovely way to spend their leisure
time.

River Ridge sponsors several juried shows each year and has organized exhibits
for members which has included past shows at the Met, Fox theaters, and now
with ongoing shows at McGlades Bistro, Olive it Café and Gallery and Forza
Coffee Co.  We are also now participating in the First Friday events and the Art
Walk or Visual Arts Tour in Spokane .  The address for these events is 15 S.
Washington (The Hutton Bldg.)

River Ridge believes that camaraderie and fellow support encourages artists to
keep their work alive and fresh.  We intend to be a vibrant part of the Spokane
Art Scene and encourage new membership.  Join us and add your creative
energy to our group and let us inspire you.
