Born Wichita, KS, raised in Southern California, lived in Rhode Island for 26 years,
Associate in Fine Arts 1999 from C.C.R.I, Freelance photographer for over 25 yrs and Spokane Resident since 1997

Being a photographer for a good part of my life, I’ve enjoyed capturing images through the camera lens.  The waves of new technology have allowed me to explore a new dimension of creativity with my images as well. But, when it comes to creating a scene or concept in art mediums, I enjoy employing my imagination. To create landscapes of my mind; where no camera lens has ever been – creating scenes outside the realm of photography.                 

In my recent series of beetle scenes I used nature’s delightfully designed critters and gave them ‘new purpose’ … doing unexpected activities.  It gives me great pleasure when the viewer is entertained with the concept.  It is the greatest compliment when the viewer laughs.

Art is my ticket to another dimension ... my reality beyond life's seriousness ... and it seems that others enjoy the 'getaway,' as well.
